So here I am doing the stereotypical government worker deal - sitting and doing nothing. Although I have to say that this is the first time that I've really done nothing since I worked here. Yesterday we had to put chambers out in the field, and I ended up with sliced open hands and very sunburnt ears. But it was pretty fun.

Updates are going to continue to be infrequent. Seeing as I have no access to a computer other than work and mooching. But nothing exciting is really happening. Karen came up for the weekend and that was a lot of fun. We saw "Down with Love", with Ewan McGregor. Huminah. Man. Life is pretty good - no complaints. Well except for the sunburnt ears. I have a paper due Friday - yuck! I should probably start it.

I'm going to be 21 in 14 days. Legal to drink in the States. Woo hoo. Although I've never felt the need to go drinking in the States before, but at least now I can say that I can. I'm sure there are more significant things about getting older than being able to drink in new and exciting places though. Ahem.

The game last night was pretty good, go Anaheim go! I hope they win. I really really do.

Kyle is sitting here napping. It's pretty funny. Because he's sitting. And napping. Yikes - I've been playing with soil too long.
